Bruno Latour, world-famous sociologist, is visiting Den Frie Centre for Contemporary Art to give a lecture about the field of nature and politics.

Latour, who is known for his analysis on how culture, politics and nature have always been blended together, contributes with his take on the ongoing climate debate.

The event is organized in connection to the exhibition RETHINK – Contemporary Art & Climate Change, which opens the very same day at the National Gallery of Denmark, Den Frie Centre for Contemporary Art, Nikolaj Copenhagen Contemporary Art Center and Moesgård Museum (in Aarhus).

The exhibition presents high-profile artists from the Nordic countries and the rest of the world, and it is nominated 'Nordic Exhibition of the Year 2009-2010' by the Nordic Culture Fond. The four art institutions deal with the climate debate with each their topic, and “RETHINK The Implicit” is the topic of the Den Frie Centre for Contemporary Art – specifically inspired by Latours ideas.
